Other information
During the peak season (June - September) demand is extremely high and campgrounds fill up quickly. Hook up sites are limited at JNP, so they tend to fill up the fastest. It is recommended by the park that visitors that wish to camp in a hook up site spend their first night without hook ups; the following day campground staff will assist you with obtaining a hook up site for the remainder of your stay. The park also offers group camping. It is required to have a minimum of ten people and only tents are permitted. For more information about group camping, please call: 780-852-6146. Check out for all campgrounds is at 11:00 A.M.

- Winter camping is offered only at Wapiti
- Campfires are permitted at most sites. However, a permit must be obtained
- There are wheelchair accessible sites at Whistlers, Pocahontas and Wabasso campgrounds
